Hi there,
I’m Jodi - the mom that Colleen worked for from January to July this last year, and an English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor at the UN.
Colleen had given Robin and I your website address, and it looks great!
In fact, yesterday in one of my classes, the students completed a textbook listening exercise about a man who had travelled the world for a year. Of course, that reminded me of you and I showed them your website. I hope you don’t mind!
Some of my students - all of whom are either UN staff or diplomats - are from some of the countries that you plan to visit and they would like to send some tips and advice about where to go and what to see. Would that be OK with you?
Would it be OK if other instructors show their students your website, too?
Thanks so much…and happy travels!
-Jodi

Hi Girls,
I got your plan and itinerary from a colleague of mine at the UN where I work in the Language and Training Programme. I also teach at Manhattanville College so I’ve passed on this website to my students in the International Tourism which I teach there. You may be hearing from them too as I have given them an assignment to find out who you are and where you are going and why you are in different places!
I wish you good luck and lots of fun

Lauren & Beth! Your blog has been a source of unending entertainment for me - I read it every day at work - and then look of prices of plain tickets to zanzibar!
Can you put a new section in your country summaries, which denotes how many bugs and critters tried to attack you? Which country has the least bugs? Wishing you all the best.
I’ll be stalking you daily!

Hey you two! Don’t know if you remember us, but we met on the bus in Argentina on our way to Mendoza…
I just found your card in my bag and thought I’d check out your website and see where you are. Hope your travels are going great! We took your advice and spent more time in Vietnam, less in India. Check out our website sometime (it’s not as nice as yours!): www.travelpod.com/members/kandjmidd
Good luck to you guys
